Wesley White, son of Vodacom Bulls director of rugby Jake White, is one of three new signings made by Bath for the 2022-23 season.
The 26-year-old loose forward, who has also played French D2 rugby for Montauban, is set to join the Premiership outfit following a successful stint for the Jersey Reds in the RFU Championship.
Bath have also signed hooker Niall Annett (Worcester) and fullback Matt Gallagher (Munster) for the new season, while welcoming back Joe Maddock as the club’s new attack coach.
A former Sharks U19 hooker, Wesley spent three years playing in the US between 2016 and 2019 before moving to England in the hope of representing the country internationally as he qualified through his grandmother’s British citizenship. He has also trialled with the Blitzboks.
