Veteran flank Keegan Daniel will lead a new-look Sharks side in their Currie Cup opener against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Friday.
Daniel forms part of a talented loose trio that includes Jacques Vermeulen and Khaya Majola, while notably, former Kings prop Ross Geldenhuys will start at tighthead as he joins the Sharks on a one-year deal.
Among the backs, Benhard Janse van Rensburg will start at flyhalf, with Rowan Gouws at No 9, while centre S'bura Sithole and Odwa Ndungane will add some much-needed experience.
