Young hooker Joseph Dweba will replace injured Elandré Huggett in a late change to the Cheetahs team to face the Kings on Friday night.
The Cheetahs are already without stand-in captain Torsten van Jaarsveld, who recently suffered a neck injury, while Huggett has now had to be withdrawn on the eve of the team's final Super Rugby match.
As a result, Dweba will come into the No 2 jersey, with Reinach Venter potentially set to make his Super Rugby debut off the bench.
