A French club is believed to have tabled a lucrative offer to lure Warrick Gelant from Cape Town to Paris.
Gelant joined the Stormers just two years ago, but according to Rapport he is considering a move to a French club, who have presented the Springbok fullback with a juicy offer.
SARugbymag.co.za understands that the club in question is Racing 92 and that the Parisian club offered him a salary in the region of €450,000 (R7.7 million) per season.

Gelant’s contract with the Cape union ends in June this year and, while negotiations regarding a contract extension started late in 2021, it is believed that the talks between the player and the union have since broken down.
Racing recently secured the services of Bok prop Trevor Nyakane, a move that may strengthen the chances of Gelant opting to move to Paris.
