Wales are set to be dealt yet another injury blow ahead of the upcoming Six Nations, with Ken Owens now a serious doubt for the tournament.
According to the BBC, Ken Owens is set to miss out due to a back problem, having already sat out the recent end-of-year Tests.
The 35-year-old is the latest big injury concern for coach Wayne Pivac, with captain Alun Wyn Jones and Josh Navidi out of the Six Nations due to shoulder injuries, while Ospreys have confirmed that duo George North and Justin Tipuric are also likely to miss the start of the tournament.
Leigh Halfpenny is another star expected to be absent, while Ross Moriarty is battling to shake off a shoulder injury of his own.
Owens, who has 82 Test caps, was last in action back in October for the Scarlets in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash with Leinster.
Wales begin their Six Nations title defence against Ireland in Dublin on 5 February.
