Paul Willemse has returned to France’s starting lineup as one of five changes for Saturday’s highly anticipated Test against New Zealand in Paris.
The South African-born Willemse will start at No 5 lock in place of Romain Taofifenua, while hooker Peato Mauvaka and flank Francois Cros also crack the nod.
They come into the side in the injury-enforced absence of Julien Marchand and flank Sekou Macalou.
In the back division, Romain Ntamack’s shift from inside centre to flyhalf comes at the expense of Matthieu Jalibert, who drops to the bench.
To accommodate the move, Jonathan Danty slots into the vacant No 12 channel alongside outside centre Gael Fickou in midfield.
And the final change is in the back three where Toulon wing Gabin Villiere replaces Matthis Lebel, who made his debut this past weekend.
