Wing Sbu Nkosi’s passport and visa issues have been resolved and he is set to join the rest of the Springbok squad in Scotland for the second Test of the November tour.
It is understood that Nkosi failed to collect his updated passport in time and this meant he was unable to join the Boks for both the pre-tour camp in France and the first Test of the tour against Wales in Cardiff.
Coach Jacques Nienaber said that Nkosi could not travel as his existing passport did not have sufficient empty pages to meet the visa requirements.
However, according to Rapport newspaper, the issue has now been resolved and Nkosi can link up with the rest of the squad as they prepare for the second Test of the tour against Scotland in Edinburgh.
Nkosi will have to arrive on Sunday in order to stand a chance of playing in the Test match as the Springboks have a policy that excludes players who do not train on the Monday before a Test from consideration for selection.
According to reports, the 25-year-old will definitely be available for the final match of the tour against England at Twickenham on 20 November.
