The Springboks were twice woken up by fire alarms in the team hotel in Cardiff on the morning of the opening Test of the Outgoing Tour against Wales.
According to those who stayed in the same hotel as the Springboks, the first fire alarm went off at around 3:58am on the Saturday morning of the Test match.
Hello from test match day in Cardiff. At 03h58, a fire alarm in the team hotel, everyone evacuated for some forced mingling with departing night-clubbers on the pavement in the cold. 20 minutes later, back into hotel to go back to sleep. 07h20… repeat, (without the clubbers)!

The entire hotel, including the Springbok squad and management, had to be evacuated until the issue was resolved.
However, that was not to be the end of it as the fire alarm again went off at 7am, with the Springboks again having to evacuate.
It remains to be seen whether or not this will impact the team as they face a tough Wales team in Cardiff later on Saturday evening.
Apparently the Boks were evacuated from their hotel early this morning? Wales gonna do everything to keep their recent Cardiff record intact ??? pic.twitter.com/4fja5XoO4Y
