The Sharks have recalled Curwin Bosch and captain Phepsi Buthelezi for the Vodacom United Rugby Championship match against Cardiff on Saturday.
Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has made just three changes to the starting XV, largely keeping with the same lineup that won against Ospreys in round three.
Dylan Richardson, who this week was called up to Scotland’s squad, comes in for James Venter and Henco Venter shifts from eighthman to flank to accommodate the return of Buthelezi.
As a result, Gerbrant Grobler is named on a bench that features a six-two split between forwards and backs.
In the final change, Anthony Volmink starts on the wing for the injured Thaakir Abrahams, with Bosch wearing the fullback jersey.
“Cardiff have a very proud home record and we’re expecting a hostile crowd which is great because it fires us up, but it is good to be playing in front of fans again,” Everitt said.
