Former Test referee Nigel Owens says the decision to penalise Springbok centre Damian de Allende for a deliberate knock-down in this past Saturday’s Rugby Championship match against New Zealand was harsh.
The Welshman, who holds the record for officiating the most Test matches in rugby history, shares his views on the penalty awarded against De Allende in the 31-29 victory over the All Blacks (2:45).
