Cheslin Kolbe has been withdrawn by Western Province from the SA Sevens squad for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow because of a knee injury.

Warrick Gelant was due to replace Kolbe but was injured at the weekend and will undergo surgery this week, so Mark Richards comes in as a late replacement.

This follows the earlier withdrawals of Springboks Bryan Habana and Schalk Brits, who were not released by their respective French and English leagues.
