Frans Steyn was sent off in the 27th minute of Montpellier's European Champions Cup match against Leinster, who went on to record a crushing 57-3 win in Dublin.
Steyn received his marching orders after a high tackle on opposite number Johnny Sexton.
At that stage, Leinster were leading 14-3, after scoring two tries, and they would cross the line another six times against 14 men.

Prop Jannie du Plessis, lock Paul Willemse and No 8 Pierre Spies were the other South Africans to start for Montpellier.
