Kwagga Smith and Jamba Ulengo have been called into the Springbok Sevens squad ahead of the Wellington Sevens.
They replace the injured pair of Seabelo Senatla and Rosco Speckman, who both sustained ankle injuries in the Las Vegas tournament, which the Blitzboks won by beating New Zealand 14-7 in the Cup final.
Blitzboks coach Neil Powell said he would move versatile youngster Werner Kok out to the wing while adding U21 flanker Smith to the forwards. Kok has impressed since making his Bok Sevens debut only four tournaments ago and it was his power run and try that clinched the Cup in Las Vegas.
The Bok Sevens, who are top of the World Series log, will face Wales, Portugal and England in the pool stage of the Wellington tournament.
