Poll: Which South Africa A Springbok impressed most?

Following the Springbok-infused South Africa A’s victory over the British & Irish Lions on Wednesday, SARugbymag.co.za gives readers the option to pick which player stood out the most?

South Africa A, coached by Rassie Erasmus and captained by Lukhanyo Am, held on to claim a 17-13 victory.

The team, featuring several World Cup-winning Springboks, including Faf de Klerk, Cheslin Kolbe, Pieter-Steph du Toit and Willie le Roux, dominated the early exchanges before having to hold on for victory as fatigue set in.

Erasmus: SA A ran out of steam, but showed heart

Am and Sbu Nkosi scored tries for South Africa in the first half, before the Lions fought back as Faf de Klerk and Marco van Staden were yellow-carded towards the end of the half.

Despite playing with 13 men for the opening stages of the second half, South Africa scrambled excellently on defence and only conceded one try.

The rest of the match was a brutal back-and-forth, with neither side really willing to reveal their full playbook before next weekend’s first Test.

SARugbymag.co.za gives you as the reader the opportunity to select the player who impressed you the most in the match.
