The Lions have been forced to move their two Super Rugby warm-up matches against the Leopards on Friday to Barnard Stadium in Kempton Park.
There is a late issue with the pitch of Ellis Park, but it is expected that the problem will be resolved in time for the start of Super Rugby.
The games will see two strong Lions sides take to the field, with a rolling substitution system in place for both matches, giving coaches the opportunity to test and assess various combinations.
The first game will kick off at 4:30pm, while the second match will get underway from 7pm.
