The Samurai won the Sevens Premier League Cup final 33-17 against the Titans on Sunday.
It wasn't all easy, though, as Living Ball made the Samurai fight for a 19-5 victory in the quarter-finals..
Fan-favourites, Kaizer Chiefs, were unfortunate in their quarter-final, losing to SWD 12-0, then failing to overcome Living Ball in the Plate semi-final.losing 43-5.
The Samurai then took on SWD, defeating them with some breathing space, 26-0.
The Samurai were then safely in the final, and got a good start, running up a 26-0 lead at half-time. They held on to their advantage in spite of a strong fightback by the Titans.
In the other tiers of the competition, the Leopards went on to win the Bowl, with a closely-fought 17-14 win over Eye of the Tiger.
Living Ball defeated the Sharks 26-22 to win the Plate.
