Fiji Sevens speedster Samisoni Viriviri has signed with French Top 14 club Montpellier.
Viriviri, who shares the top try-scorer spot in the World Series with fellow countryman Benito Masilevu, will join up with Montpellier in June.
‘I was previously approached by French clubs but declined as I wanted to play sevens a bit longer, but I'm ready for a contract now,’ said the 24-year-old.
Viriviri is known for his blistering pace and deceptive footwork.
While sevens is his speciality, Viriviri plays fullback for Fijian club Nadroga, but said he would be on the wing at Montpellier, a position he prefers.
