Scannell on Ireland bench

Uncapped hooker Niall Scannell has been selected in Ireland's match-day squad for Saturday's Six Nations Test against Scotland at Murrayfield.

Scannell, who plays under Rassie Erasmus at Munster, is on the bench as back-up for captain Rory Best, who will win his 101st Test cap.

CJ Stander starts at flank alongside Sean O'Brien and Jamie Heaslip.

Johnny Sexton has been left out of the match 23, so Paddy Jackson starts at flyhalf with Conor Murray on his inside.
