Kurtley Beale will start at fullback for the Waratahs in their warm-up match against the Blues in Sydney on Friday.
Beale is back with the Tahs after being released from the Rebels because of bad behaviour.
Dave Dennis will captain the side, which features Reds recruit Jono Lance at inside centre and the comeback of injury-prone Wallabies No 8 Wycliff Palu.
Israel Folau and Michael Hooper have been named on the bench.
