Adam Jones will make his 100th international appearance when Wales face the Springboks in Durban on Saturday.
Wales coach Warren Gatland has opted for an experienced line-up that boasts a number of players who featured in the British and Irish Lions' series victory over Australia last year.
Alun Wyn Jones will lead the side in the absence of Sam Warburton, who will miss the series through injury.
It's amongst the backline that the Welsh pose the biggest threat, with Jamie Roberts and Jonathan Davies likely to test the Springboks' untested centre combination. Mike Phillips and Dan Biggar will resume their halfback partnership, while British and Irish Lions' wingers Alex Cuthbert and George North should also prove a handful for the Boks' backline.
The match at Kings Park provides Warren Gatland with another opportunity to claim a victory against the big three southern hemishpere nations, having gone 18 matches without a win, a run that stretches back to Wales' victory over Australia in November 2008.
